This is the beautiful home of stylist and interior designer Susanna Vento of Varpunen Blog. (You can view her portfolio here). She lives in this two-bedroom apartment in Helsinki with her husband Jussi, her daughter and her cat :) Susanna is by the way also responsible for the incredibly popular Varpunen sacks! She likes to change her interior occasionally - as do most interior fans I think, including me. The more graphic black and white photos in this series are a little older and belong to her interior from a while ago. Her style has become a little more peaceful; with a marble dining table and brighter colors like white and light wood. I like both styles (almost equally) so I have chosen to share pictures from both 'categories' with you :) That means a lot of photos!
Moreover you can hardly count the design classics in this home because there appear to be so many! The most notable of course are the Bertoia Diamond Chair, the Olle Eksell Cocoa Eyes poster, the Thonet and Eames chairs (and LTR Wire Table) and the Smeg fridge. You can also spot some newer classics like Fine Little Day's Gran wallpaper and Up poster! And it seems that we both like grid patterns ;) Are you as much in love with this interior(s) as I am?

Het is altijd zo leuk om kleine finishing touches op te pikken uit zulke mooie interieurs, zoals de vierkante witte bakjes waar ze haar bestek in de keuken in heeft staan. Het vergt een creatieve blik in de winkel, want vaak zijn dergelijke spullen voor iets heel anders bedoeld. Ik vind het altijd een uitdaging om daar doorheen te kijken. Prachtige eettafel trouwens met dat marmeren blad!
