Delft is a beautiful (relatively small) city in the Netherlands and even though the owner of this lovely home currently lives in Paris she couldn't bring herself to sell it. After renting it out for a while she decided to ask the talented Nathalie and Tessa from Nu interieur|ontwerp to renovate it so she could use the place as a second home. The assignment was unambiguous: as much white and light as possible :) This is of course the easiest and most efficient way to make a home appear larger and more peaceful. I like the fact that Tessa and Nathalie also incorporated their own designs, like their Stool Tess Oak and their leather door handles (you can get those in a lot of colours by the way! :)) Visit their store here. And I love the Mosquito chairs in the kitchen, that were designed in 1954 by Niko Kralj for Rex Kralj. I really wouldn't mind moving to Delft if this is where I would live :)
