Today I will give you a tour through the fantastic home of the Finnish Mija from Talo Pihkala blog. For more pictures and a look into the daily life of Mija, feel free to check out her Instagram feed as well :) I love the great contrasts in this home and the calm feel about it. And of course that spark of Nordic Days Yellow ;) Take a look at these beautiful glimpses of her home!

Everything I love!
ReplyDeleteI really love it as well :)
DeleteI adore that nightstand in the first two photos. any idea where it's from?
ReplyDeleteHi Duckalicious! Yes, it's the Componibili, designed by Anna Castelli Ferrieri in 1969. It's sold by Kartell in different colours and sizes (I actually own one myself :) ) Good luck! - Flor
Deletefaster than lightning :) thanks!
DeleteIt is Pihkala, please correct the spelling in case Someone is seeking for the blog Talo Pihkala. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOops! But it's corrected now :) I only made the mistake in the title strangely enough. Must practice on my Finnish ;)
DeleteI like the lamp a lot. Can you tell me where it's from?
ReplyDeleteI meant the lamp in the first two pictures.
ReplyDeleteHaha I was just going to ask! Unfortunately that's about the only lamp I can't identify, at least it's not an iconic lamp. The other lamps are from Design House Stockholm (the "standing" bulb and the Block Lamp), Muuto (the green one and white one in the hallway) and Kartell (over the dinnertable). Sorry..
DeleteIt's a Jieldé lamp. For more info: http://www.jielde.com/home/
ReplyDeleteFor me: wishlist material :-)
